Just so very tired.
If I closed my eyes, I'd fall asleep immediately.
Weeks feel extremely long.
But no wonder.
My Monday to Friday hours are worth six days.
Sometimes more.
I don't take coffee breaks.
My lunch breaks tend to be short.
Don't get me wrong.
I hate working this much.
But I want things to work.
Problems need to be solved.
I barely have time for the big project I'm supposed to be working on.
Mr Boss doesn't know how much of me it needs.
I'm not sure he understands.
Or if he even wants to.
When the project is over, that's where my stretching ends.
I didn't choose this.
I didn't choose to be the only one who understands these systems.
They made a choice.
A decision.
I don't need help.
That's what I was told.
I'm tired.
I'm ready.
